MCON and AppScale announce strategic partnership enabling apps built on Google App Engine (GAE) to run natively in China
AppScale’s platform allows any app built on GAE to be moved to another public cloud, or on premise, without having to be rewritten. With AppScale, companies can leverage GAE’s rapid development model while ensuring that their applications remain portable across any infrastructure. MCON will assist customers with legal and registration issues, supporting them in setting up and running their applications on AppScale, in China. MCON can also provide localization services, including WeChat integration, when necessary.
Woody Rollin, CEO at AppScale: “The combination of AppScale’s unique technical capabilities with MCON’s in-country experience and knowledgeable team provides a best-in-class solution to help customers succeed in moving their applications to the Chinese market.”
Guenther Kreuzpaintner, COO at MCON: “Cooperation with AppScale is a big win for our customers. Together we can deliver seamless service, independent from time zones and borders.”
